Legal process outsourcing has never been hotter. Bad times for many American companies is turning into good times for the Indian legal offshoring industry.

As a result of the economic downturn, India’s legal process outsourcing (LPO) services providers have seen a significant increase in business. Pressure from clients have even forced some law firms to make the switch. Intellectual Property services from patent searching to application drafting are also increasingly being shipped overseas.

While offshoring legal services is gradually gaining acceptance, apprehension about offshoring still exists. What are the key concerns and risks associated with LPOs?

What are the leading LPOs doing to mitigate these risks? And what are the advantages?

Please join us for an informative and thought provoking panel discussion focused on these issues.

For those attending the live session, space is limited, so please rsvp to Delphine.Greenwald@Pfizer.com.

For webinar instructions, please rsvp to Rahul Ranadive at rpr@ranadivelaw.com.

SABA-NJ Annual Golf Outing (and Reception*)
Thursday, September 17, 2009
1pm (first tee off)
777 Hoes Lane West
Piscataway, NJ
** Active link for detailed venue information.
Anish Joshi, who organized the event, summed it up as follows:  "On a beautiful Thursday afternoon in mid-September, SABA-NJ held its first annual golf outing at the wonderfully designed Rutgers University Golf Course.  Attendance exceeded expectations and birdies were flying everywhere during the 4-person scramble format.  SABA members and guests from Philadelphia and New Jersey participated and everyone left happy.  The winning team avoided having any bogies and finished with 7 birdies and one eagle.  There is no doubt that the outing during upcoming years will bring even more players that travel from locations beyond New Jersey and Philadelphia such as from Delaware, New York and Pennsylvania."
